Lexapro?

I saw my regular doctor today, going over with her all my information about my visits with Gynos and Uros. She told me I was depressed, which was why I went to her in the first place because I'm having such a hard time dealing with everything. She put me on Lexapro. I've never been on anti-depressants before, but I really think I need them right now. I'm not on anything else other then: IC diet, Urelle when needed and prelief. I haven't started any IC meds yet, neither of my doctors want to start yet because of my fibroids and endometriosis.
Has anyone ever tried Lexapro? Will it aggrevate my IC symptoms?
