My daughter (6yrs Old) is still struggling with this UTI & flaring. Now I am waiting for Uro to call back because she hasn't urinated since yesterday afternoon. Has this ever happened to any of you? She has always suffered from frequency not this. Thanks
Some on here do struggle with retention and have to do self caths. If your Dr. does not call back real soon, I would be taking her to the ER. That is a long time without voiding. Good Luck and let us know what happens. Hugs,

Thanks everyone. She finally went to the bathroom and is doing ok. Uro didn't call me back until 7:30 pm. I am so scared to bring her to local hospital unless absolute emergency, they are not at all set up to deal with kids, and childrens hospital is 1 1/2 hrs away. Fortunately she finally went on her own, I knew I'd have to bring her to ER soon. I am still battling with a lot of docs who don't believe IC exists in children. We were lucky to find such an informed Urologist. I appreciate everyone's support, it is a hard thing to see my daughter struggle with. By the way do any of you suffer headaches with pyridium?
