This is sooooo funny as soon as Griffin said it I knew I was going to share it when I got home:

Hubby, Griffin and I are in the car. After I got off work we headed out to get dinner and then to go to the discount grocery store. So on the way to dinner I said, ouch, I have that stabbing in the bladder feeling again.
When we got to the restaurant Griffin wouldn't let me take him out of his car seat, he wanted "Daddy do it" okay, whatever hubby gets him out of his carseat.
We go to the grocery store after we ate dinner which is just across the street. Again Griffin will not let me take him out of the carseat. Hubby asks him why Mommy can't take him out of his carseat, why does Daddy have to do it. "Because mommy's bladder hurts"
I just about died!!
We get into the store and I try to get a cart, yet again, he said no, he would do it because "Mommy's bladder hurts"
I guess Griffin has figured out that my bladder hurts to much for me to do such strenous activities, LOL :biglaugh:

Oh it gets even better as the night goes on. It's about time for Griffin to get ready to go upstairs and go to bed. I told him that he had to get the box and pick up his blocks before he went to bed. He climbed on the couch and told me he couldn't clean up his blocks because his bladder hurt and when we asked him where is bladder was he pointed to his butt :biglaugh:

Isn't it interesting that a little boy understands that bladders can hurt but co-workers, doctors, in-laws and friends don't get it at all!

That's very true pingpong, I never thought about it that way. I'm pretty lucky though, my co-workers, family and doctors have all been pretty understanding.

He is well on his way to becoming another compassionate, caring, IC kid. Even if he does think his bladder is in his butt...:lmao:

When my daughter was small, we past by a dump where the some moving people had to park a mobile home because the road was too muddy to try to get it up the road to where it was supposed to be parked. She pointed at it and said moma look, Somebody threw their house away. Your thread brought back a lot of memories for me. :lmao:
