Waiting to hear

Just wondering how long it took for everyone to hear from the SS people the first time around. I applied in December went in Feb for a meeting with a pscy dr. So I am still patiently waiting. I am fileing for IC, anexity, depression and scolosis. Just wondering. Thanks Patricia :confused:

depending on the stste where you live and what your dr reports are has alot to do with determination. I recieved ssd on my first try.. best wishes to you dear please let us know how it goes for you

I am waiting too. I applied in February, went for the psych exam in March and finally called my case worker today and she said that the doctors were reviewing all of my information. There was another person that filed about the same time that I did, I know that it was in February but dont know the exact day and she has already been approved. She is not an IC patient. Let me know how it turns out and I will post here when I find out something as well. Susan

Thanks to all. I live in Louisiana by the way..I have tried calling my case worker tons of times and left messages each time but she does not return my calls. I guess the wait goes on.
