Sorry, no way of saying this nicely but no matter how hard I try I cannot get the smell down there to go away. I take a bath the smell is fine for about 1/2 hour, I use those flushable wipes only lasts 1/2 hour. It's really beginning to bother me both ways. Annoying and I am STINKY!!!!! :dizzy: Anyone else have this?

It can be a sign of a UTI; you should really get that checked.

Sounds more like a yeast infection to me.......Try 3 days of Miconizole.....see if that gets rid of it. Roxie

I agree if you have a differant smell then you are use to all signs point to some kind of infection..Only other time you will have a strong smell is when your urine is really concentrated then it has like an ammonia smell.. With any kind of smell though you really need to get checked out by your doctor..
BTW hows the new babies?

I honestly think you should see your doctor to rule out any problem --- and if there's an infection problem going on, it can be treated with the correct medication.

Thanks everyone. I thought maybe there might be a problem causing it but wasn't sure.
Roxie, can I find the Miconizole in the stores or do I need to get a script? Will try this first and if that doesn't help then I will call my GP doctor. I don't get along with him anymore and I don't with they gyno either. Been to both gynos so I'm out of having one now.
Babies are doing good. Just really big wiggle worms now. :) I wish they would stop growing and stay the way they are.

The med Roxie is talking about is Monistat, sold OTC for yeast treatment. If you're easily irritated down there by creams and such, I would avoid it, most IC patients cannot tolerate it. If you do try to it, try a test spot first.
I would get to the dr to be tested to find out what's going on...if it isn't yeast, then Monistat isn't going to help, even if you can tolerate it. If it's a bacterial infection, you'll need an antibiotic.
Glad to here the kitties are doing well!:)

HI! Waterflow,
I've never had a problem with Miconizole making me sore or itchy....it's the generic for Monistat and I get it a the drug store....CVS or Walgreens. I have trouble using the yeast pill, Difulcan. Everyone is SO different with you.....you need to try one and see for yourself. Hopefully the Miconizole will end your problem and you won't need to go to the dr.s you don't like. Roxie

I did get teh monistat. It does burn so I only put in a small amount. The smell problem is not as bad but it makes me itch big time. Always something with this. At least I don't have to go to the doc. Next time maybe I can try one of the other ones.

HI Well I hope it helps for you. IF not maybe you should try to find a different doctor to try. Good luck! Roxie
