Is she a pet or are you on a farm? I'm amazed she lets you hold her.

We have 2 cats a dog chickens and bees...not quite a farm, just Maine thats all :) I love this place!!! The attached photo is with a very special hen named princess, she is lame but is very loving. The hen in my signature is very "Broody" and doesn't really like anyone but me:)

Mary,
I don't know how to change the size of a picture but if you have a photobucket account you can click on the little box right under the picture you want to show us. Then you go down to the bottom of the page and click on generate html and img code. Once you click on that it will take you to another page the third code down says IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards. If you copy and past that code into one of your posts we will see a small thumbnail that we can click on and it will take us to the larger picture on your photobucket account, like this, this is my puppy Buffy

This is my soat-coated wheaten terrier, Grissom. Yes, my hubby named him after a CSI character!

Great pics everyone! The chicken picture cracks me up! :D

Not sure if y'all are aware, however theres a photo thread under Arts, Crafting and Hobbies (we're currently on the thread "Photos, Take 5")that you're more than welcome to post to. There are a few of us that post fairly regularly there and would like nothing more than others to join in on that thread. If nothing else, it gets our minds off of our bladders for a few minutes!

HI! I had a pet black hen when I lived in Nebraska....her name was Henrietta and she was such a doll too! Mine was an Araconda......she laid the blue/green Easter eggs. Chickens have SUCH a personality. She used to sit on my lap in the evening....and coo......and watch tv with me! Roxie

Then hen i'm holding in the attached picture is an araconda. The one in my signature is all black, and I don't know maybe a bantam? Well anyways, Chickens are wonderful pets and very loving. Tey also lay eggs! What a bonus!:woohoo:

Erika--not sure about combining threads. :)

Looking forward to seeing more of your (and others) pics; hopefully you'll join us on the other thread soon. :)

PS--the chicken pictures make me think of the Seinfeld episode when Kramer gets a pet rooster.

HAHAHA yeah. I will post some picks on the other thread when I get home. I have a nice one of a rooster and some of our hive. And some of my fiance and our dog sadie!
