Most of you should know that my sister and I combine efforts. Throughout most of the year, she manages our ICN order center from her farm. Throughout the year and, especially during harvest, I help her with the grapes.

In any case, my superwoman sister also raises goats to make goat milk soap when she has time. Just this afternoon, the first two kids were born of this season!!! ! Here are the pictures... just minutes old. Aren't they cute??

We also live on a farm and raise goats. Fortunately, our kidding season is over. :woohoo: We raise boar goats. I love seeing the babies. They are so adorable. But, I had my fill of it this last time. (We had several that had to be bottle fed that stayed in the yard forever!) They finally joined the others in the barnyard this week. :woohoo:

For us, we can tell a big difference in the bottle fed ones as oppossed to the others, b/c the bottle fed ones are so much friendlier.

It is so nice to find others here with this lifestyle. But, you dont want name suggestions from our family! We let Collin name ours and he (apparently) names them the first thing that pops in his head! We have Daffy, Henry, Mud, Lolly, and Stick among others. :D (He named our last cat Bucket. :smile tee )

If you ever have sick ones and need help, I have some great goat websites I can send you to help troubleshoot.

Wishing you a Happy Kidding Season!

Hugs,
Amy

How cute, I also make goat milk soaps though I do not have goats of my own. My doctor just recently went sort of crazy when he asked what kind of soap I use. I told him I made my own soap and he said that he thinks this is not good for my IC, not the ingredients but the fragrances I use...:loco:
