What is a normal amount to void?

I've been keeping track of how much I void and it's about 150ml each time. Sometimes less. Is that normal, or bad?

That's not too bad, but less than a normal bladder.

I usually void anywhere from 5 to 8 ounces which is between 150 and 240mls. I am different all the time. I do know that when I have like 180mls in me, I usually really have to go. But then there are times where I can hold it and go up to 300mls. But of course I usually get the feeling that I gotta go before I reach that point. I just try not to run to the bathroom every single time I have the urge, which is alot :)

Hiya, 150 ml is not really much but not bad either. Mine is always different. Sometimes i have a bad urge and cant hold it at all and i only void around 150ml and then sometimes i have the same urge and void up to 300. But usually it is around 250ml.
i am trying to teach myself to hold it a bit longer each time which of course doesnt work all the time but i try and then when i void like 300 i am a happy girl! I did a bladder distension and through that my bladder capacity got a bit bigger. Hope it will last like that.

I was measuring in oz not ml because I was using a cheap measuring cup. I was really shocked because I would feel like I was going to burst and it would only be 4 oz which is about 120 ml I think. I woke up and ended up peeing 9 oz but I felt like I was going to die before I went.

They say that 12 to 16 ounces is suppose to be a normal amount to void, but normally we will start feeling the sensation that we have to go when we have like 150mls to 200mls in the bladder.
Like Christine, there are days that I feel I have to go sooo bad, and only go like 5 to 6 ounces. Then there are days I will only go 4 ounces. Yet there are a few times I will hold it as long as I can and go 10 to 12 ounces, though at that point I really got to go Baaaad.

Well ladies,

I haven't measured my urine yet, but I can say that last night I woke up in the middle of the night thinking I was about "to go" all over myself....sat on the white throne, and even pushing, probably went less than an ounce. I seriously could have probably caught it in a tablespoon! :toilet:

...darn night-time urges. :rant:

On the upside, getting out of bed allowed me to flip my one-year old over so his feet were no longer in my face (he loves to sleep upside down in our bed):rolleyes:
