Well after all was said and done with my Trial even though it was not much fun, I am going through with the surgery. I am waiting for my doctor's office to call me back with the surgery date. After the interstim trial was removed I wanted it put right back in. I hope my surgery goes as well or better. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Hi Kara:
The InterStim Implant is way different then the trial, it not as painful as the trial and it really is not that bad of a surgery at all..
You will have a sore back due to the surgery but you will be able to get around on the second and third week after surgery...
The stimulation is much different then the stimulation by the trial, you will not feel it as strong as the trial ok...

Kara, I was so worried about my surgery and I worried for nothing. The pain was maybe a 2 - I only needed one pain shot in the hospital and took 2 pain pills - my flares are 100000x's worse than the discomfort I had from the surgery. Hi Debbie! I can use one outside but I can't use one in an enclosed place...........I don't have any metal in my head, just in my butt, I don't get it but I can't use one indoors..........duha http://www.ic-network.com/ubb/tongue.gift.

Teri, I don't think it's the interstim --- my cell phone doesn't work very well indoors. I think it's the kind of cell phone I have. I've been thinking about getting a different kind.
