Starting Singulair & Zyrtec

Hi,
I learned I have IC about 4wks ago. We dr put me on that bladder coating med Elimeron or what ever it is called then and today I went back because I am still hurting.

He suggested I started Singulair and Zyrtec together. (sigh) Has anyone done this? What were your results? He said I should see results within a few weeks.

I'd like like to hear from people who have tried this method.

Often antihistamines are a major part of ic treatment. It's based on the assumption that the irritants in our bladder are producing mast cells and that the anthistamines control the mast cells.
