Is this what retention is?

I just went to the bathroom b/c I'm headed to bed. I didn't have a huge urge to go, just wanted to empty my bladder before bed. Well, I peed, sat there for a few seconds, lean forward and peed more. Sat back like normal, tried to pee again, nothing. Leaned forward and peed more. I did this like 7 times and each time I could only pee more when I leaned forward. I'm currently taking Urised, but have only been on it for about 5 days.

I think of retention as not being able to urinate at all. Have you talked to your doctor about how you have to lean forward to urinate? If not, you really should.
