Interstim is working well this week!!

I just wanted to update you all on how I have been doing. I stopped taking the Neurontin because I thought it was casuing urgency and frequency. It was! I've been off of it for a week now and my Interstim is back in business. I've been going between every 4 and 5 hours this week!!! I'm so excited, I can't even stand it!!! The last time I did this well, was during my wedding when I went 6.5 hours!! This is truely Heaven right now!!! I only hope it lasts for awhile so I can get a few weeks of relief!

Wow, thats a long time to go. I am so glad for you. I cant imagine what it would feel like to not be in the bathroom atleast once an hour. This is just great. I am totally speechless.....lol. I hope that it stays this way for you. Go shopping, and have some fun while you are doing so good........lol

I was wondering if you have a lot of pain from your IC and if the interstim helped? I know it isn't geared to help with pain, but my doctor says it sometimes can help. I have talked to several doctors about help with pain too.

We are all so different in this procedure with our IC pain..

Yes, I had lots of pain before I had the InterStim done, where I have passed out with awful pain...

I had my InterStim Implant for almost three years and I am one that was helped greatly with my pain and I know of many others girls too..
I really think it has to do with how bad your IC is and also if you have PFD( Pelvic floor dyfuncions) problems as well...

I did every kind of treatments going and all kinds of medications and this was my very last resort was trying the InterStim..

I am just doing wonderful with it too!!
Mind YOU, I had lots of adjustments on the InterStim to get to where I was getting the great results too..

There is a great deal of "patiences" in this procedure, it is not a overnight success like lots of girls tend to think it is and it's really takes a while to get the results too..

Many girls on the boards are misled my their doctors that this procedure is for pain, it is not and I was told it was not for pain when I did it, it helps with frequency and Urgency..

Read all about it on the www.interstim.com (http://www.interstim.com) and the maker of the procedure www.Medtronic.com, (http://www.Medtronic.com,) they will send you a video on this procedure and also a good idea is have a well experience doctor doing this procedure is a really a great benefit for sure..
