elavil & hair loss

Anyone else having hair loss on elavil?

I was on elmiron & elavil 25mg
hair loss started...so i stopped elmiron
its been 3 weeks..but its still comming out


could it be the elvil?
or maybe 3 weeks isnt long enough to wait

I have never had any problems with hair loss with Elavil. I am would bet its still the elmiron it takes a while to get out of your system....

I have to agree it prob. is still the Elmiron in your system. I have never heard or had Elavil cause hair loss for me.

I am on Elmiron and Elavil.. but I've only been on it for a week and a half so I haven't seen any adverse side effects, yet. What I've heard from others - from what I understand - is that after stopping Elmiron, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for your hair to begin to regrow noticably. I've never heard of Elavil causing hair loss, so I think that if you just give your body a few more weeks to completely rid your body of Elmiron - then it should start to regrow.

Also, I wanted to ask you.. how long were you on Elmiron before you begin to notice hair loss? And Is hair loss the only reason why you stopped Elmiron, or were there other side effects you experienced?

I was only on Elmiron for a month, and more hair came out on my brush. But, I haven't had any hair loss while being on Elavil for 4 months.
