I know before the surgery they tell us not to take any asprin products a week prior to surgery...Is elmiron considered a med to not take before surgery or is it safe to stay on it?

When I was taking elmiron the literature that came with it said to discuss it with your surgeon before surgery. It also said to avoid taking aspirin with it since both can enhance bleeding.
