Flutie, I would suggest that you go thru all of the past post and read up on both the pros and the cons of the surgery.

I had it done a year and a half ago and it's been a huge sucess for me. But, I can only speak for myself.

First of all I'd like to welcome you to the IC Network. You'll find a lot of helpful information here. Have you checked the Patient Handbook at http://www.ic-network.com/handbook/ ?

I have no experience at all with the interstim, but I do know that it is not usually considered until many other treatments and medications have failed.
