She's Naked!

I took my puppy to the groomer yesterday and I have to say it was tramatic for the both of us.

Since her hair was SO knoted and matted she was shaved down...

Needless to say she looks naked and like a rat. With fuzzy ears and a tail poof. It will grow out in 6-8 weeks though. Thank God.

She will be much more comfortable with the shorter cut. I think she looks cute.

She looks adorable. With the Summer coming on, she will be much more comfortable as well. I know that when I had a Scottish Terrier, I would get her groomed during the Summer pretty much like that and they would put bows in her ears.

:biglaugh: Had that done to my dog once too!!! She's still cute :smile tee I cut my dog's hair myself now. Last time, not only did the groomer shave her, but she painted her nails hooker red and sprayed her with nasty perfume. She looked and smelled like a skank!

I can just picture red toenails on a dog...it's a strange image.

They DID however, give her this teal aremy print bandana :loco: . She looked like GI Joe.

thats so funny!:biglaugh: We brought my Golden Retrieve one time to a groomer. He weighed about 125, he was an oversized golden. Cute as a button though. Anyways when he came back she had shaved everything but the head and tail. all his hair was gone. He had no hair on his body but the longest hair on his tail and head. He looked like a Ginourmous chiwawa. he knew he looked stpid too. Then they put a huge bow around his neck. I was like what the hell mom, he looks like a circus clown dog! :biglaugh: I wish I had a picture to show you.

I've seen the nails being painted before. Paris Hilton does it to her dogs. How stupid is that??

I think she looks adorable in her new hair cut :o).
I have a dachshund ( a weenie dog). His name is puddin and he is soooo sweet. He keeps me smiling when I am down that is for sure.

Now listen. I had a dog that I used to paint his nails. I was about 10 or so. One time, he got "dog napped" and ended up about 20 miles from my house. I saw a found dog ad in the paper. When I was talking to the lady that listed her number on the ad, she said that she didn't think she had my dog since it was so far from my neighborhood . I asked her if his nails were painted purple. She came back to the phone and said yes. My mom took me to go get my dog. That lady laughed so hard about his purple toenails, but if I hadn't of painted his nails, I might not have ever got "Teddybear" back. We have no idea how he got that far away, so that is why I say he was "dognapped". It was also in the days of Benji! That was 30 something years ago, way before Paris! LOL!

I've seen it on other dogs before (the nail painting) and it was cute. But on Meme it was just awful. She had these really long bright red nails that just stuck out. Looked like her feet were bleeding!!!! I trimmed her the other night and got it a little short, and the hair on her paws is longer than her body, but she still looks cuter than that time-lol!

Ya know how many times I ask my parents if I could paint copper's toe nails. They always said now especially my dad. He said he didnt want to have a fairy dog. haha So mean

I think she looks adorable, and she'll be a lot more comfortable in the heat of Spring/Summer with that short cut. She's a cutie!
