IC tummy?

Does anyone else have the IC tummy - looks distended/bloated and is sensitive/painful to touch (lower abdomen/bladder area)? I also have IBS so I know that's a factor too...but I"m just wondering. I am SO SKINNY but my stomach is always distended and painful. :confused:

yep this is part of IC yuck... one day I could wear a 10 and the next a 12/14.

i weigh about 95 lbs and am 5'1". i've lost weight recently (again!) but my tummy stays the same...*sigh*.:loco:

i'm small too... 5'6" and weigh 125lb. I always have the bladder sticking out. It's annoying and looks bad. sucks to have it when I'm only 20!!!! Good thing I have a bf that loves me. haha jk

Mine isn't doing it so much at present, but I remember that the tummy distention was the very FIRST symptom that I got. It looked really bad about a week before my first flare. I recall joking with my bf (now hubby) that I looked pregnant.... My stomach still does it around the time of my flares.

:hi: I am new and planned on introducing myself onthe board, but i had to post to this. my friend is on here and has been bugging me about getting on. I have had fibro since i was 12years old but only dia7years. boy do I get the tummy tho. i also have IBS. and i thought it was that. but my friend kept telling me it was ic. it drives me crazy the tummy not my friend lol

well i donot know how it works here i was on a fibro support group and we just kinda introduced ourself when we were new so i don't know my way around here.

I did have IC belly for the year I was trying to get dx and for a little while after. Since I was dx with IC and got my treatment and meds worked out, I rarely get it anymore, but skin is still hypersenstive in the pelvic area and my butt.
