Hopefully if all goes well, ( in regards to my labwork for my PT/INR/PTT) comes back ok, I will be having my hydro tomorrow morning. Did all of my paper work the other day over the computer- (everything is computerize now). The nurse call yesterday to comfirm time that I need to be there. However, they change the time from 7:30a.m. to 6:30a.m. due to the first patient cancelling. This means that my husband and I have to be up and gone from the house at 5:30 when I told him this, I said to him "I love you' and he said what do you want? I told him "nothing-- except that they moved my time up". Of course, he knew what I was talking about. Told me he loved me too, and gave me a dirty look!! Then told me its still going to be an all day thing with me due to the antibotics and all - I usually break out from them somewhere along the way so they have to give me benedryl(?) so he said he is going to the bookstore tonight afterwork and buy a book so he won't get bored. -- usually I don't leave there till after 2:00 or so.
Then Friday, I'm going to have my Sister watch me, just in case I have any problems, don't think I will, but I know last time I had some, so between her and my husband wants to make sure that someone is around to watch me.
And hopefully by Monday, I will be ok to go back to work. (I'm not the type of person to stay at home for long).
Wish me luck. Have a good weekend.

Mary hope the best for you, and it really doesn't take that long to have this surgery done. One thing, you might want to wear loose clothing, something that is comfortable.
Sending hugs, Trishann

Trishann, I know it doesn't take that long, I've had too many to know that. But since I have a heart valve replace, they take precautions with antibotics and such, plus the fact that I'm allergic to one of them so like I said they give me benedryl. So, I'm not in and out like everyone else. I'm usually there for at least 6-7 hours- no matter what kind of procedure I have. I know when I had my colonscopy done last year I was in there for 10 hours. My poor husband thought we would never get out of that place!! i'll try to get on the computer Friday and let you all know how it went. My computer at home keeps kicking me off, so if I'm at my sisters, fine, if not, who knows when I'll bet back on.

WOW Mary, I am so sorry, but I am glad that they will take precaution. Sounds like you have a pretty good doctor that cares about you. Hope all goes well and be thinking about you.
Sending hug, Trishann

True to my words I was there for awhile. Everything went fine. No complications this time around. On Friday I went out with my Sister, which tired me out a little, then went home and nap. Saturday mostly stayed in bed with my "babies" - but I did a few loads of clothes. Yesterday, I did nothing at all, except read books and slept most of the day. Today I'm at work trying to see what everyone put on my desk while I was gone for 2 days. (and here, I told everyone not to put anything on my desk--yea, right!!)
I'm so glad to hear everything went well. Hope you continue to improve.
