Hi everyone! I feel so much more sane since finding this site. Right now I am in pretty contant pain, some aching, some sharp/burning/pinching, and I feel like I have to go to the bathroom all of the time... Is this a flare?
Also, I have had the 'bathroom all of the time sensation for a while' and pain in my abdomen periodically before this, but 7 weeks ago, woke up with sharp pain in my abdomen, horrible pain. After a week of testing, and pain worsening with sitting up, my dr. discovered a hemmoraghic cyst on my ovary. When this healed and I was still having pain, dr. questioned me for a while, and then order a Potassium Sensitivity Test, and I passed with flying colors. My pain is holding steady at a 4-5, going to 6-8 with sitting, and activity for more than a few hours. The dr. told me to rest up for 4 more weeks....Is this typical for a first 'bad' flare that leads to diagnosis? If so, with elmiron 3x a day and diet change, in anyone's experience, when does this get better? :help:
