when you are constipated and something happens to, finally, stir things up in your intestines?
I "go" somewhat every day but it seems not "enough!"

What do you do when you get them, how do you avoid getting them, etc.

Thanks for any info. I've been getting one of these incidents about once a month and they are just terrible. I, also, have ulcerative colitis but, thank God, that is in a long remission.

Izazen, constipation usually causes your bladder to act up more. Maybe more fiber and water will help. Or maybe the doctor can describe you something for it. Hope it don't last long.

Thanks for the advice! I drink a goodly amount of water and eat a lot of veggies. I think its the old PFD problem that is the true culprit.

I think I may have to resort to the tablespoon of Milk of Magnesia tonight as I NEVER want to go through one of those episodes again!!

I wonder what is the absolute best cereal to have? Oat bran is supposed to be good but, of course, oatmeal is, too. Maybe 100% bran flakes? I'll eat anything - regardless of taste - to avoid another occurance.
