I have an important question????

Do you know if people who are taking Elmiron need to go off of it before the Interstim Surgery? I bruise easier and heal less than before I was taking it. I know they tell you not to take Advil and Aspirin products the week before surgery...I just wondered if any of you had to go off of Elmiron as well.

When I was on elmiron prior to any type of medical procedure I was advised to stay off of it for 2 days prior and two days after the procedure. This included when I had cystos and dental work. I also had a problem with bruising twice as easily, because of the blood thinning effect. I really suggest that you talk to uro about about this.
