I'd like to see discussions on the TENS unit

Hi Songbird, I had the yearly visit with my gyno recently and I updated him with all that has been going on-IC wise. He said that if I ever needed a precrip for a tens unit he could give me one. Apparently he usually Prescribes them to women who are pregnant for back pain, but said he could help me out with my IC should my uro refuse.

I got to thinking... that could be a double blessing for those pregnant and with IC. Just thought I'd share.

I like my TENS set. When I have lower back pain, I put the TENS on the both side of my spine. It helps relive the pain and the bladder spasm.

I love mine, I don't use it all the time, but when I do I am so relieved to have it. With all of my medical problems I have a lot of pain. Problem is no docs want to treat my pain so I have to do it on my own. The TENS unit makes that possible to some extent.
I would also like to see a TENS unit discussion/board.....to exchange electodrode placement supply providers and whatever else we need to ask about. So how about it Jill? Lisa
