Urethral Diverticulum

Has anyone else had this? My urologist thinks I might have it and I would have to have surgery. I have already had surgery this year and didn't recover well so I am scared. Anyone with any info please tell...

What is that? I know what diverticulosis is when it is in the intestines. Is it similar to that? A pouch in the urethra?
Hopefully, there is another treatment other than surgery.
