Questions about Estrogel

For those of you taking Estrogel (topical hormone replacement therapy), how long do you have to wait to take a shower or bath after you apply it? I have been on it a while, and usually apply it at night, and bathe in the mornings. However, occasionally, I would like to bathe at night (or just get in the whirlpool when I feel bad), but am not certain of how long I have to wait after the application.

I have looked at several different websites, but the information I am reading is conflicting. So, I wondered if any of you are on it and know for sure.

When I took topical estrogens I also tried to use them at night or after a shower in the morning so they had time to absorb. If you took a dose in the AM and gave it a few hours, I would think you would be OK.

The directions tell you to try to put it on after your bath or shower.

I am presently experimenting with inplanted hormone pellets both estradiol and testosterone. So far so good. Got a hormone test today to test levels after four weeks.
I got tired of smearing creams and gels all over me, and had a problem getting a good serum level. They seemed to absorb too fast then fall off.
