Just started watching the apprentice... It is soooo good. Great for kids to learn basic business skills... and to see why and how people get fired. Definitely a must see!

I do like that show a lot. I am happy they moved it to Thursday nights because otherwise it would cut into me watching American Idol. :D

I love "The Apprentice"! I watch it right after Survivor! If I don't get the chance to make and eat dinner before 6 pm, then I am not eating until 8pm! It's ridiculous, but hey, I am having a good time watching those two television shows!
I can't wait until Omarosa gets canned! I think that Troy from Idaho is going all the way to the top! He is going to be Donald Trump's new president of one of his companies! Who is with me on this?

I love the show! I too hope Omarosa gets canned next. Amy is way to sharp for Nick, I don't think much of him so I hope whatever they may have going is OVER. Nick's ego is over inflated and he lied in the last board room about researching companies, remember him walking out when he was asked to? Then in the board room he said it was a good idea and he did? Give me a break! Two more days!

Since I have been homebound due to this flare, I've really enjoyed the Apprentice and look forward to it every week. I'm with all of you, I hope that Omerosa gets canned this week. The only reason she hasn't been sooner is because her team keeps winning. I agree that Troy is the sharpest one and will go all the way. He seems to use more common sence than the others.
I'm glad to see the the girls aren't using the sex sells approach anymore. They certainly had the opportunity with the water. I'm glad they listened to Trump's warning that it isn't acceptable for a pres. of one of his companies.

There's supposed to be a breakdown in the boardroom tonight...I wonder if it will be Heidi? I like her, I hope she stays. She and Omarosa are supposed to get into it tonight!
Jen_Cole
03-04-2004, 01:24 PM
Oh yeah, there was quite a breakdown! Omarosa ruined what slight chance she had of staying on by bursting back into the boardroom pleading her case. What a whiner! She was still complaining about a little piece of plaster that hit her in the head. I'm glad she's gone-I think Kuami will be next. He's gotten by for now-but hasn't contributed much. Heidi is too foul-mouthed to stay on. I think Troy will win in the end.

Yippee!!!!!
If nothing else made me smile big today, Omarosa's departure did!
She's a thief I believe (the lost money episode), snotty, thought she was better than everyone else, and just plain rude.
Heidi does have a mouth, but she's not stupid and I do like her too.
I cant figure out quite yet who's going to stay, but I am really enjoying this show.
It's not another mindless reality show, I find myself actually THINKING with the teams, trying to figure out the best strategy.....like tonight, I WOULD NOT have picked that strange woman's 'artwork'....I guess its better then the guy putting in his "DNA" LOL!
Ewww, wonder where he gets all the DNA when he tires of hair or fingernails.....gross!!!!!
Anyway, I loved the show, it's great diversion and gets the old thinker going for a change.

It was great to see Omarosa's breakdown scream , can you believe she burst into the board room? She's so fake. All the remaining were jumping for joy! :) :) :) I couldn't believe it she said Troy didn't contribute anything except carry in liquor and that he should be axed.
I really enjoy the show and look forward to next week's episode.

"Oh my head...I have been walking around for a WEEK with a CONCUSSION and I have to sit down and eat"......oh poor baby LOL.
I just heard on the today show, and she's also going to be on the show soon, that she is going to the "courtroom instead of the boardroom"...Wonder whats up?
I'm recording the show because I have to get my little ones up for school in a few minutes...
intersting isnt it? Omarosa is probably suing Trump for her 'concussion'.
ICNJess
03-05-2004, 01:40 AM
I think that was one of the best board rooms yet! How she just burst in crying, and Trump says, "Omarosa I didn't call for you yet!!" LOL It was great. I especially loved how Trump was saying "it was a tiny piece of cement, do you know how many times I've been hit on the head with that?" Ohhhh I am so glad she is gone.
Sandy, you've got my interest peaked, I'll have to watch the Today show today. Grrrr I don't like Omarosa. I like Heidi, I mean her mom is going through colon cancer and you don't see her walking around and complaining constantly like Omarosa!

I think, according to what Omarosa said on the Today show, that she is suing Trump for "not having hard hats on in a construction site"....Shes just not a nice person. She said it was plastic originally that hit her head, then it was cement, but the size of a quarter...If she could play basketball with the kids, she could work without 'excuses'.
It will be interesting to see if she does take him to court...Imagine the attorney HE'D have vs the one SHE'D have......LOL
They are taking applications for The Apprentice 2....I'm excited about that one already!

eek eek unbelievable!
Wasn't it initally a tiny piece of plaster? And maybe I missed it, but when was she diagnosed with a concussion from a doctor?
Can't wait until the second one too!

Oh my gosh, I didn't know she was suing!!!! What a hoot, my family and I were hoping she was gone a long time ago!!!!! She is a manipulating, whining, brat!!!!! I didn't get to see the today show, please keep me posted on what is going on!! I do love that show! Some people would probably think we need a "life" but you gotta have some type of a break in this old life!! I love the apprentice!

OMG I can't believe it! I missed the today show!! :( I really wanted to see it. Grrr. I just don't like her at all, she's too whiny and your right, she could play basketball but she couldn't work? Grrr. I am so glad she got fired, she'll never win that lawsuit!!!! cussing :p

Anyone surprised to see Heidi go? I liked her, but really, she didn't do much leadership huh?
Alexa
03-12-2004, 05:31 PM
I was a little surprised..personally I liked her...but she was so preoccupied (rightly so) with her mom, so maybe it was for the best so she could spend more time with her.

I agree with Alexa. I think that after Heidi found out her mom was sick, she just gave up.
I am glad that she got fired and is able to spend more time with her mom.

I just saw this topic, so I just had to join in.
In last weeks show, personally I thought Kwame was a weaker performer and leader than the other two. He failed to even get one customer in his assigned task. I'll admit that Heidi is a bit rough around the edges, but Kwame deserved to go before she did. Also, I was disappointed that Troy picked friendship over performance when choosing who would go to the boardroom with him.
Anyone venture a guess who will be fired next week?

Wasn't this episode the best? Did you see when the camera caught Omarosa in a big fat lie about transportation arrangements for Jessica? She'll be the demise of him.
She was on Oprah today w/ "The Donald" and Katrina and Heidi. Omarosa continued to lie about Katrina calling her the n word. What a shame she resorted to lies after all she's acheived in life and education, to just throw it away. She's presently employed but who knows how long that can last when she is a liar.
Next week is live 2hr. show, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do you all think?

Julie,
I did finally catch a full episode -- I had never seen all the controversy surrounding Omarosa, but heard plenty. I have not followed the teams etc, but found it interesting that the fired were back to work as teams, with Bill and Kwame...
What a twist.:dizzy:
But I was watching that call during the dinner meeting and it seemed to me that she deliberatley sabotaged that liason with Jessica Simpson and her transportation:tsk: - She may be overly motivated and ambitious, but she is not a person I would want on my team...she is pretty sneaky. And self serving.:evilsmile
Now I will have to watch the finale..........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I won't be happy if it is on during a Red sox game though.

Why is Omarosa there anyway? :( She was difficult to work with. It seems that she is really trying to mess up Kwame's chance of winning. That is so sad. Hopefully Kwame figures out what she is all about.

It was Erika that was on Oprah today, not Katrina. I loved Oprah today but every time I see Omarosa, my blood just boils!! She is just :loco: What a hard decision between Bill and Kwame...I love them both!! can't wait until next week!!!!

Ugh. well if they invite the losers...I guess they have to invite all of them....what a chump Omarosa is. duh. no wonder she's *fired* How the hell do you lose Jessica Simpson, does the chick not carry a cell phone? "helllllllo Jessica where are you????????" Yeah. Wicked Difficult task. I mean really the girl was a block from my house one evening and everyone from the eastern seabord found her with no problem...geeeeeeez
I feel bad Amy and Nick got cut loose, but someone had to go...poo :(.....I agree with Alexa, hard choice between Bill & Kwame....I like them both for their different strengths.... :)

I hear it's Trump's head on the chopping block...something about his casino in Vegas. What's up with that hair.:biglaugh:

Trump ALWAYS has a bad hair day. I guess if you have all the money he has you can wear your hair anyway you want. But it sure gives me a laugh:biglaugh: Anyway I watched the show for the first time last night and really liked it.

I thought he (Trump) had a hair piece before, but I think it's the comb-over thing.
Did you guys see the final episode? I really liked how they did it live. As far as the concert and golf outing, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump just threw them a few curve balls just to see how they would handle certain situations. The Apprentice has my pick for best reality tv show-I can't wait till September for the second edition!
