I was just wondering how long people's flares usually last. Mine seem to be for months on end and then I will go into remission for 6 months or so but I am pretty much non functional for those months I am flaring.

I can't speak for everyone on here but for me, my flare ups last for months sometimes and then I may not have another one for 3 or 4 months. Just depends. I am completely non functional when I have a flare up because it makes other health problems of mine worse.

For me it depends on what caused the flare. If it's from something I have eaten, the flare will go away within a couple of days if I drink a lot of water. If I have a flare that just won't go away then I go for a hydrodistention, which helps me.
