A page of the "ICN Patient Handbook - 2003"
(web page http://www.ic-network.com/handbook/nerve.html )
says that "The ICN provides TENS units for sale in the ICN Shop. Prescriptions are required for US purchases." But I can't seem to find the right place at the ICN Shop. My pain med. doc. keeps mentioning Medtronic implants but doesn't seem to say anything about the more non-invasive approaches like TENS or SANS. How does one go about getting a TENS unit? Thanks.

I got my tens unit from my physical therapist it is from BMR neurotech. It is a TENS/NMES unit, which helps both your muscles and your nerves to decrease pain. I did find some TENS units for sale by just typing TENS unit in the search bar you don't need a prescription or anything. I know that my PT thought a TENS/NMES unit suited my problems best. Hope this info helps, if you have any questions just private message me. I do have BMR neurotechs number if you want to call and talk to them.

Thanks. I was able to rent an Accumed interferential unit. Tried it for 3 weeks; about to turn it in. Acupuncture is next…
