T.E.N.S or ultrasound

Hi,am wondering if anyone has tried an ultrasound machine for pain relief. I've seen them in a chemist chain and they recommend them for reduring immflamation. They're about £80- not much more than T.E.N.S. I'm in England.

Has anyone had success with them for IC?

Rubi,
I am not sure about the ulta sound. I just bought a TENS unit and it was covered on our medical plan.I ahve only used it on my back so far and it does help. We lived in Birmingham Eng for one year..Just thought I mention that seeing you are in the Midlands...Husband was on a teachers exchange.. Still have friends in Sutton Coldfield and Great Barr..Next summer my son and his to be wife will be living in Manchester if all goes well...
