I want to find another one and I am not having much luck googling it. The one I have I pay thorugh the phone bill (don't have a credit card or checking account) and they keep upping the price and charges. It was supposed to only be $1 extra for paying it with the phone bill. I can't use AOL, JUNO, Earthlink, Netzero. Any clues as to others? I live in NY state. :help: Has to be dial up too.

You might do a search for "internet service providers, (your city)" --- the one we have is through our power company and they bill us along with the power bill --- no extra charges.

I use peoplepc.com and have used them for several years. I never have any issues or problems with them.

Ours is through the phone company and payable on our phone bill. How can you stand dial up? Isn't it reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaal slow? You can get DSL through your phone company for only a few dollars more than dial up.

I wish! DSL isn't available where we live. We have a 400 foot driveway and it would cost us almost $4000 to get the service line put in.

Earthlink offers good, reliable, dial-up service. I don't know how much it costs. I set it up for my parents about eight years ago, and they've had almost no problems in that time.

Yup, I'm with Donna - we can't get DSL through our phone here either "not yet available in your area", ugh - gee thanks! LMAO!!! ;)

No DSL with my phone company either. Earthlink has to be paid with a credit card. That is the big problem with finding another provider. I have dish no cable where I am unless I want to bring it up the road for a few thousand and to have the dish interent is too expensive for me. Thanks for the ideas. Maybe I should ask my provider now how they could up the cost without telling me first and see what they say?

I've seen ads on tv for netzero. I can't tell you if they're any good, but they claim to have the cheapest prices for dial up....and they also have some accelerated dial up.

I found one and of all places in the yellow pages. :loco: So far I haven't been disconnected and it hasn't taken me 5 minutes to disconnect. Keeping my fingers crossed with this one that all works out ok.
