I was just wondering are figs good for IC? I can not see them on the IC diet list. My mum & my uncle have a fig tree at home(with no chemicals used on them they are 100% organic). Do figs have a high acid content? Does anyone eat figs and if so did they affect you in any way?

A co-worker brought me home-grown figs last year and I ate them with no problems. I don't know much about their acid content or anything, but it might be worth eating a little bit of one just to see. If you're ok, try a little more... and so on. :)

I bought some from Trader Joes a few times, no problemo!

I can eat them with no problem. They are a very special treat because I don't find them very often.
