I am moving to Montana in June and would love to have someone to talk to every so often in the Absarokee area. Appreciate any one in the area or close to that area to eventually be able to communicate about IC.

Boy, I'd love to live that close to Yellowstone! I'm a good day's drive away (Idaho) but have been through that section of Montana often. -They sure do have some good storms there!
PA to MT,...talk about culture shock!

Hi Vicky yes there is a big difference and it is called HUMIDITY AND TRAFFIC !!!!! However Nye , Absarokee area have high winds in the winter but they say all the west has wind. We have being going to Mt for the past 4 summers with our horses dogs and best of all our son. However he is and eastern boy all the way. But he was excepted to MSU at Bozeman and he does like it there. thanks for writing. Sincerely Judy

When I hover over that symbol it says "report bad post". My guess it's to contact a moderator if someone's being offensive? Just a guess on my part.
Yes, I'm familiar with the traffic in your part of the world, -my husband is from Berks County. He was an eastern boy but we broke him of that! We still go back to PA often to visit. Getting on those roads there can be a thrill! And the humidity! UGH! It's like trying to breathe whipped cream! His family has never understood why we would choose to live out here. There's not much for shopping, going out to eat, etc. But if you love the outdoors, it doesn't get any better than Montana or Idaho! Wonderful for horse people!
Do you fish?
