Diagnostic spinal?

Anyone ever get a diagnostic spinal nerve block? I got it done yesterday.. Just wondering if anyone has experianced it. It numbed my body from the mid chest down to my feet... really creepy experiance. It felt like I was paralyzed. It took about an hour and a half in recovery before I could go home. Unfortunantly it didn't work, because my pain returned within half an hour...

I have had 3 of them done as soon as the numbing agent wears off the pain returned. It never did numb my body but it did help with the pain for a short time. I would not do it again though....it was not worth it.
