starting ivf drugs next month

Hi, I'm really apprehensive to start my ivf meds because I'm afraid I'm going to flare.
Last year at this time I took clomid and that's when I discovered I had IC. I was lucky and was diagnosed within four months. I wonder if it was from the clomid, the vaginal estrogen or the progesterone levels? I'm currently only taking prelief,spirulina and vesicare and watch my diet. My urologist did not want to start me on elmiron since we are trying to conceive.
If I do flare, what is the best coping stratagy? Did anyone have bladder instillations during this process?
I'm trying to stay positve but at the same time I'm terrified I might feel as bad as I did last year. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks nicole

I went trough it last fall and thanks God I was Ok during the treatment. Being on antibiotics before and during the IVF may have helped as well. I am now pregnant and during this fifth month I have been dealing with a flair up. I had 12 days of amoxiciline and it helped just a bit. But I get up to go to bathroom every two hours. I had one bad night with pain in my belly for a few hours but passed. My oB told me to go to hospital if this hapen again. I take Prevacid, tums, acidophilus, and the m/vitamins I break of in smaller pieces.
