My best friend bought me tickets for Christmas to see Chris Young. The concert was Saturday at Nashville North in Taylorville, IL. It was a 2 hour drive for us.
But it was sooo worth the drive! Ive seen a few concerts over the years. This one was by far the best. The music was good, the stage presence was there, the voice was amazing, he did some of his songs and a few covers. He was also very funny! He was poking fun at one of his band members who sang a goofy song. He was very engaged with the audience. I felt like I knew him by the end of the show. Then, he stood at the front door and took pics and signed autographs till the last person left. When I was up there getting my pic and my autograph, and I told him that I had so much fun that my friend and I are going to see him when he is in Bloomington, IL in March. He seemed surprised and thanked us. He seemed humbled by my comments. When I get my camera developed Ill post the pics.
