My visit to the otolaryngologist

Dr M checked both ears the right ear was fine the left ear drum was swollen on the outside and filled with wax..he took a suction thingy and sucked all the nasty stuff out. he prescribe me some ear drops for the infected ear and cream stuff for the itching. he did some testing he said that my hearing and pressure was fine. There is still some ringing in the infected ear.. I think it will go away through the healing process.

Good news for you! My husband had the wax removed from his ears once, and for days afterward he kept telling me to stop shouting at him -- LOL -- he just didn't realize how badly the wax buildup had been blocking his hearing.

Ears usually respond well to antibiotics and anti-inflammatories (as the mother of a competitive swimmer, I've become something of an expert on ear problems!) so you should be fine.
