I have had dry eyes and mouth for years because of other meds I take for allergies but now my skin is horribly dry. Could it be from the Elmiron, Atarax, or Elavil? I have tried everything, dry skin all over. I sell Avon and have tried everything they have plus raided CVS's travel size lotions to see if any of their's worked. My hand are the worst and I have a bad nervous habit of tearing the dry skin off around my nails. Anyone have this problem and what works for you? frown

It could be a problem with the soap you are using to bathe --- the only thing I can use is Neutrogena, which is very mild. Also, I know we are conditioned to shower every day, but if I do my skin would fall off totally --- so I have gone to an every other day schedule.

I do suggest you talk to your physician about your dry skin.

Sending healing thoughts,
Donna

Hello,
I've had very dry skin since I started taking Elavil & Ditropan. (I guess the good news is - no more acne!)

I now use the Pink bar of Dove soap & the Keri Advanced Moisture therapy Extra Dry Skin lotion. I tried a bunch of other lotions first & this one worked best for me. I got so tired of buying lotions that didn't help & wasting $, I started asking friends & family if I could just try what they were using and found this one!!

Good luck, hope that helps:)
