found an easy way to scrub the floors

Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. I bought a scrub brush with a long handle to clean the tubs and showers with. Tired of trying to bend and reach. The bathroom floors really need to be scrubed and getting down and up all the time is no picnic. I got the bright idea to try the scrub brush. It works great! :woohoo: Will buy another one to replace it for the tub & showers. It will even reach behind the toilet and scrub that really well. No more getting up and down and being on my knees. At least I can keep the floors scrubed now. :) Just need a good waxing mop. Anyone know of any?

i understand what you mean.i love my orangeglow mop to death!!!!!! maybe as much as my dh.lol lol .i buy it right at the supermarket,refills and all,it works absolutely wonderful.:bow:

I use that Mr.Clean thingy with the ultra long handle, and I also use the Clorox bath/tub scrubber with the handle. I can't bend over to clean the tub and those things are lifesavers. Also, the swiffer wetjet is a GODSEND to me...no more wringing the mop for me!

The Swiffer WetJet IS amazing :) And, I too use the Clorox thing with the long handle for tubs and showers. Sometimes, I even use this thing called a Husband, but that thing is on the fritz half the time :biglaugh: LOL!!!!

LOL Jen, my hubby is on the fritz most of the time also. Maybe they just need a belt tightened or something.

I have a "thing called a Son" but I think he is on strike now that he is working full time!! He refuses to clean their (his & his brother's) bathroom and boy, is it a mess every week!! My friend got me a scrub brush and this orange glo that does wonders on the tub (found out its good for just about anything!)

I use Mr Bubbles to clean the tub and shower, but it seems to eat up the caulk around the tub. What's up with that. I heard something about using vingar and water to clean the shower panel, has anyone heard of this?

You guys need to try the shower cleaner I have. It is Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, anyway you hang the solution in the shower and it is automated. You just press a button when you are done showering and Voila! the shower is all clean and shiny. I very seldom scrub anymore, it takes a few times of using it before you can tell a difference.

Who would have thought the IC support could have such good ideas on various topics????

Wetjet, YES! YES! YES! I bought one not to long after that came out. I also have the dry one for wood flooring and I bought the battery operated on with the dry swiffer on the back sweeper. I thought about buying the clorox brush but the one I bought was cheaper and I'm a cheap skate. :wink:

Trishann, Kaboom works great at getting dirt and lime off and it won't eat any of the caulking. Plus it's safe to use. No harsh chemicals. I use that all the time. I have hard hard water.

I think we IC'ers have to come up with ways to clean that are easier. Someone should write a book. Who's going to start it? :hmm:
