Chicago Here I Come - Oprah

I am so excited I am leaving in a little while for Chicago, other than it being cold there, to stay with my best friend and go to Oprah on Tuesday. I was on her web page two weeks ago, and I wrote a funny paragraph about being told you look younger than you are and they called and asked me to come be in the audience. I am 44, recently divorced, and these 27, 28 year olds are asking me out. Of course, I am not Demi Moore and not wanting to date someone that could be my son, but it is still flattering.

I will let you know if I get on TV and when it will air....Of course, I am in pain daily, and am scheduled to see my dr on Thurs. She has been out for 3 months for maternity leave and have limited amount of pain meds left, but the flight is only 1 hr 30 min., and because I am staying at my friends, I will have all the comforts of home available to me, should I need them.

The only thing I am nervous about is during the taping not being able to go to the restroom. I will definately limit my intake of fluids in the a.m.

I hope you have a blast at Oprah. I went a couple of years ago with my sisters and had a great time. It's really interesting to see how a show like that is put together. Don't sit on the outer aisle. Camera never shows that area. And welcome to Chicago. It's snowy, but not too cold, and may I just take a moment and say .....GOOOOO BEEEAAAARRRRSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had such a good time, other than having to stand in line for 2 hours by the time we got in the studio. The producer put me on the front row to the left, I am wearing a red sweater and red beads, I believe it will air on Feb. 5th. The camera was right beside me and did a lot of shots that way, we will just have to see.

I enjoyed being with my best friend and getting to relax, with nothing really to do.

I SAW THE PROMO FOR THE OPRAH SHOW THAT I ATTENDED, AND GUESS WHAT? THERE I WAS. I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE MYSELF ON NATIONAL TV. SO GIRLS REMEMBER TO WATCH. I AM WEARING A V-NECK RED SWEATER AND SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR. :smile tee
