elmiron and dry eyes

I have been having itchy dry eyes for about a week. I thought it was the air conditioner but I am starting to think it is the medication. I am taking elmiron. Has anyone had problems with dry eyes and elmiron?

According to the printed information on elmiron, this is not listed as a potential side effect. Are you taking any other meds? Could it be the air conditioner filter?

Also, I don't know about where you live, but here in Oregon we're having an especially bad pollen season.

I do get dry mouth from Elmiron and sometimes noted, in the beginning dry mouth. I know my bottle says to take with PLENTY of water.

The Elmiron may draw moisture from wherever it can in the body in order to do its work of coating the bladder.

Just a thought....
