I bought sneakers!

Decided since I'm back to doing aroebics I should buy a pair of sneakers. Not good to do it while wearing slippers I figured. This is the first pair I have bought since the IC started. Seems stranged to have them on but I found a pair at K-mart on clearnace for $5.00! :woohoo: They're not the cheap-o kind either. THey are the real exercising type. :woohoo: Now I really can start sweating it up. Will be a lot easier on my feet too. :bow:

I have a pair of black sneakers that I really like. I wear them whenever I work out. I've been going about once a week (usually) for the past year, and I have definetley noticed an improvement.

I think it's crazy how much some of my friends pay for sneakers, though. This girl I know just has to wear white Nike sneakers, and, of course, they can never look dirty or old. So, she ends up spending about $120 dollars on a new pair of sneakers every couple of months! Can you think of what that adds up to in a year...!?

I think it's awesome that you found a good pair for $5 bucks. I don't think I've ever paid more than $25 for a new pair of sneakers, and I don't aim to, either. That's what rocks about black sneakers; they never look dirty :)

Mine are black too! This is the first time I've had black sneakers. I think it is stupid too to spend so much money on sneakers. If they thought about how many hours of work they need to do to spend that kind of money and they are only paying for the name. My sisters kids had to have those kind of sneakers and wouldn't wear any other kind. My sister paid for them. she had 3 kids and I told her she was crazy. she said they need to look good when they go to school.
I read your post aobut exercising and how good you are at it now. That is just awesome! :woohoo: You've been at it longer then me but I'm doing my hardest to catch up to ya. :wink:
