My cast is off!!!!

I am now in a boot for at least through February, but I can take it off to take a bath and when I sleep. I was so glad to get in my jucuzzi last night! I actually took 2 baths. It took me forever to shave my leg. It looked like a man's leg. All that dry skin was grossing me out! I still can't drive, so my hubby will still be driving Ms. Daisy for a few more weeks! The doctor said that if the bone on my foot separates at all, I may be looking at surgery, so I promised that I would behave!

It's just so nice to sleep without that huge cast up to my knee! It is taking a little time to get used to the boot, but as long as I behave, I know the end is near!

Casts are horrible... I broke my wrist a few years ago and I just couldn't wait to get that thing off because it got dirty, itchy, and all around gross. And I got sick of trying to shower with a garbage bag tied around my arm!!!

That's fantastic news. I know you're greatful to have that off, and I'm sure it was a huge relief to be able to shave your legs!!! I can't STAND that feeling!
