I'm sorry that you're feeling so badly right now. I'm in the middle of a Lupus workup and have follow up tests next week. My skin actually hurts sometimes too. Out of all of my symptoms, that is the one that people seem to understand the least. I wear comfy, soft, cotton clothes all the time. I seem to ITCH a lot even though my skin isn't dry. I also have fibro/mps/chronic fatigue, etc (the list is in my signature). I wish I had some answers for you, but other than washing your clothes with a dye free and perfume free detergent, I don't know. Light bothers me too....if nothing else I can definately understand your symptoms! Are you taking anything for pain now?

I hope you feel better soon!!!

Some of us believe that these conditions are related (IC, fibro, Lupus...) can be caused by a difficult to detect pathogen called Borrelia Burgdorferi. In order to rule this disease out you need to see a doctor who specializes in diagnosing it (usually infectious disease doctors are the worst at diagnosing it).
