Snow Day!!!

It is not often I get a snow day from work, but it happened today :) :woohoo:

We're not getting that much snow, maybe a few inches, but it is also going to sleet... and then we'll have freezing rain on top of all this, causing a royal mess. We live out in the "country" and the roads out here are bad since they just don't bother to sand/salt us out here.

I called my boss and told him how crappy it was, and so I get to stay home today. I will do some writing work I need to do, but it will be very peaceful. Hubby is also staying home for the same reason, so we will also get a little time to rest and watch the snow together :)

It's been sleeting and snowing here on and off all day....oh, and lets not forget the freezing rain. My kids had to go to school today and they were SO annoyed! LOL I, however, was greatful that they were gone and the house was quiet except for the tink, tink, tink of the ice hitting the windows! This crazy weather is killing me physically!!!!!
