Sicne taking the vicodin and walking everyday. for the first time since the IC happened I did 20 minutes of aroebis today and I wasn't out of breath! :woohoo: :woohoo: Could have gone on and done more but the old bladder was complaining too much. I had to re-do it so I could go along with the tape and had to leave out all the real bouncing around but I still got a good work out. Can feel it all over my body. :smile tee I was thinking about watching dancing with teh stars and how I wished I could do that. I was dancing, not a nearly as good as them, but I was dancing! :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm hping to tone up the old bod now with exercising and dieting. This is really a big step for me. :)
(one bad part, I had to do the first 10 minutes with the hick-ups. I seem to get them because of the vicodin. ) ha

I know that is a big accomplishment!! We've got a complete home gym thing upstairs and I think about doing it almost every day. I usually stop at thinking about it though!! I have just felt too crummy lately to lift weights. I have walked the dogs a few times through the neighborhood, and that in itself is a major workout! Now that the weather is actually winter-like I guess I'll have to go use that machine sooner or later.

Be proud of yourself, you did a great thing!

Sandy, what all do you have in your complete gym??? I envy you! I've wanted one so badly but can only fit so much in my bedroom. If I added anymore I would have to sleep on the treadmill. Walking doggies is a big job in itself. Do you actually take a walk with them or is more of a drag type thing? You being the one dragged? :) back when I had a dog (lab) I would really run with him. Almost as fast as a doggie run. Well, he had this habit in the beginning of crossing over in front of me with no sign first that he was going to do this. The first time I managed to dive over him so I wouldn't land right on top of him. He was a big dog but I weighed more and didn't want to crush the poor guy. After I looked up at him while still on the ground and telling him he was not supposed to cross in the front of me he had that look of "What is youuuuuuuur problem lady, get up get moving". He did this to me twice. At least the second time was during winter and I skidde din the snow head first of course. He only stopped becuase he couldn't drag me. :bonk: When you feel good enough to exercise I'm sure you will get in that big gym and start. How about I make a meal and bring it over to you so I can work out in there?? ;) I'm pretty sure my cooking won't kill any of you. :dizzy:
Thanks Trishann and Octoberfarm.

Octoberfarm, do you have a farm? Just wondering about you name. It's interesting.

I live in the country on 6 acres but I don't have a farm. I just love the month of October and my son's birthday is in October so I thought that would be a perfect name :)

Let me know how your situation with the male nurse turns out. I am pulling for you :bunny:

I never would have guessed that was how you came up with your name. Very clever. :)

Thanks, I'm sort of keeping my fingers crossed as well. I'm living in a soap opera now. :D My very first soap opera.

LMAO, yes way better than that feeling of 99!! LMAO! I have been such a slacker lately and right back up the scale went, ugh. Ticks me off, I let it happen, and I got lazy eating whatever crossed my path ....mmmm M&M's!!! GRRRR!!! I am going to force myself to get back to Curves again, it helped me in more ways than just physically. When you are doing something for you like that, don't you feel great mentally? It's funny, cause after say one session, I start to imagine that "hey! I look like I've lost weight!" LMAO!!! Mind over matter....

It's got all the different things so that you can lift weights and do resistance training....kind of like a BowFlex, but its from Sears, LOL! It will work out every single part of your body. Honestly, I wish we had a treadmill....I'd get on it and put all 3 of my dogs on it like the Dog Whisperer does to give the poor things some exercise other than running crazy in the back yard!

You ARE an inspiration...now keep it up and keep inspiring me to get my butt OFF this chair! :)

Sandy, I've been wanting a bowflex forever! Hey, I'll trade my treadmill for your bowflex any day. :) My inspiration is the 51 year old grandmother who advertises it on tv. If she can do it I can do it. WE all can do it! We all can become 51 year old grandmothers walking on tv in a bikini. Whose all with me????? :bonk:

I'm only 42 and wouldn't go on the BEACH in a bikini. I'll get on that workout machine if you get on the treadmill...we can be each other's inspiration...ya know, by 51 I might actually BE a grandma!

Hey, I'm 42 also . You wouldn't walk in a bikini on tv if you looked like the one on tv? I'm not sure I would either but maybe if I had the bod for it.
You know what really stinks? I know some woman in their 40's who are grandmas. 51 I think is the normal starting age for it. Ok, I'll do my workout and you can do yours. :)

Tracey, After doing 25 minutes of aroebics I thought ok I must have lost 10 pounds easily. I mean I did 25 minutes of it! Got on the scales next morning and nope, zippo. Not one pound was gone. It was all still hanging on me. :bonk: I think it's the stupid scale. DOesn't work right. :tsk: :lmao:

I agree with you Waterflow, it is not us, it is just that stupid scale, nope it is just not working. :hi:
