I'm going to be an aunt!!!!!

OK, so I'm not allowed to tell anybody in my "real" life about this, yet, but I have to share. I'm going to be an aunt in September! My brother and his wife just told us this weekend that they are expecting. It's the first for them and the first grandchild for my parents. Needless to say, we're all excited. The last couple of years have been difficult around our family with various health issues, job loss and even a death, so good news is extra good right now. I can't wait to spoil the kid! :)

Congrats!!!!! Spoil it rotten if you can! Nieces and Nephews are the best b/c you can spoil them and load them full of sugar then send them home!!!

I'm quite excited! They live about an hour away, so that stinks, but that's certainly better than if they were 10 hours away or something. Any suggestions on books I could send to my sis-in-law on pregancy? I've heard about the one "What to Expect When YOu're Expecting." Any thoughts?

I don't know of any books, but something that I did for both my sisters that they really enjoyed was make them a "mommy basket" after they had the babies. My one sister was really down, so I filled a basket full of spa stuff and chocolates and candles and all sorts of other pamper yourself items. She loved it and it helped her feel more like a "woman" after having the baby!
