I noticed that some of you have had it injected into your bladder while some have had it injected into the pelvic muscles. Why have you chosen to do it that way? Thanks.

Thanks for responding. Did you have to go under or did you have the local anestetic (sp?)?

I was put to sleep with general anesthesia. I had it injected into the pelvic muscles as well as the bladder and urethral area. It was my Doctor that chose to do it this way.

have any retention? If so, for how long? I see my doctor on Wednesday and am going to tell him I want to schedule the procedure. I've been thinking and thinking about ti forever, but I am now going to do it. I'm nervous.

Unfortunately, Botox was not successful in my situation. I do know of several people that it works well for. Maybe you could ask your Doctor about the retention and what he would do if it did happen.
Best of Luck!

I had the Botox done for urgenercy&freqercy. I went to Dr. Gousse in Miami, FL for a 3 year trail study. You have the botox every 6 months. You would have to pay for your transportation to there and it is done in is office. The botox is really helping me alot. When I started the study I was going 60 times a day know I am going 5 to 7 times a day. If you would like more information you can e-mail at deborahbush1952@yahool.com Deborah Bush
