ate one banana on friday everthing went well no prob, :woohoo: had two on saturday big mistake 2 make a long story short no more bananas for colin
Did you eat them both times with food? Were they the same amount of ripeness? Sometimes that can affect our reactions to foods.
Since you were ok Friday, maybe 1/2 banana next time as part of a meal? And not 2 days in a row? You could test again on a Friday, with no repeats over that weekend to see...
Just a thought.... But of course, if the flare was really awful, maybe not.

I can have a banana occasionally, but not more than one in a day or two days in a row.

I ate them both on their own between meals...Any suggestions on what to eat if you get an attack of the munchies between meals?? With such a limited diet I find that this is the hardest time for me.
If you're looking for healthy snacks between meals:
Pears
Celery sticks (can add a tiny bit of cream cheese to make it more interesting)
Baby carrots, string cheese, triscuits (I can get away with a small amount of Marie's lite creamy ranch dressing).
Almonds & raisins (if you can tolerate them)
Dates
I find that some foods that I can "get away with" in small amounts if part of a meal, I cannot eat on their own. (I guess I'm diluting whatever is bothering my IC). And yes, this diet is very limited. (But hey, if it keeps me feeling more ok I guess it's worth it.)

Thanks for that:smile tee
