Uveitis & IC ?

This is not a "dry eye" problem, but I was uncertain as to where to post it. I read somewhere that UVEITIS could be associated with IC patients. Does anyone have any information on the relationship (if any)?

I have inflammatory bowel disease in addition to IC. Both are chronic inflammatory diseases, with a lot in common. Uveitis is a problem some IBDers have to deal with. It is believed that the cause is systemic in these cases. I believe there are probably different types of IC, with different causes. You may have a type that is systemic, and causing eye inflammation. This is just a guess, because no one knows the cause of IC or uveitis.
