OK, so this probably isn't the kind of show I'd think to watch under normal circumstances. While I tend to be a fan of some reality shows (Big Brother, Heck's Kitchen, etc.), this one is sort of like Cops meets celebrities.
But, I am watching it and have been intrigued with it since last Thanksgiving. The show was filmed in my city in Indiana. We've had the "celebs" around here for a couple of months now. They wrapped up yesterday, so now Hollywood is heading out of town, but it certainly generated local interest.
Anyway, the first episode was last night on CBS. There is another new episode tonight and then it will be on every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EST. I think there are only like seven episodes total.
As far as my perspective goes, I liked the show. Many of us have been worried that it would make fun of our town and such, but they've actually done a good job. Especially considering the celebs are working as police officers, so of course they're going to see some of the worst our town has to offer. The show seems to be mixed with funny and somewhat touching moments.
I just wondered if anybody else has watched it and what your thoughts are. I think mine are certainly skewed because it's my hometown. I was born and raised here and even stayed here for college. My hubby and I met in high school and both are glad to still be able to live in the same city with our families.
