newbie with intimate stimulation question

first off let me intorduce myself i am 26 year old mom of two (both girls a three year old and a two year old). I was just found out last thurs. I had Ic via cystoscope. i also had my urethra opened up b/c it was nearly closed (don't know if this is common for ppl with IC) I have so many questions but i guess the one that really hasn't been disscussed with my Uro and I'm really curious about is this...does any one else find clitoral stimulation painful or uncomfortable???? If so What can i do about it?? Please help

at times yes in deed... when it dose, just don't go there, its the only solution I have come up with.

That is my main problem, I dont really have much bladder pain, unless im flaring, but I always have clitoris pain..Kind of feels like a throbbing sensation. I have done alot of research on this, If you want to, look on my threads I have started..My GYN put me on cymbalta, its for the nerve pain. It was made for depression, but it also works on nerve pain. It has helped me so much. I was about to go crazy with my clitoris throbbing all the time..If you need any more information please ask, I will help you any way I can, because i know how you feel!!!

Whenever I am in a flare, the first symptom is sever clitoris pain. It totally throbs and aches. Bummer

Thanx everyone for the insight, I am so very grateful. I was kinda wondering if something was wrong with me ya know? but you guys (gals) have actually helped and I'll be speaking to uro about it monday!
